John Brown House Museum, 52 Power St., was built in 1788 and was the home of wealthy 18th-century merchant and manufacturer John Brown. This restored three-story Georgian-style house is furnished with fine examples of Rhode Island furniture, decorative arts and Chinese ceramics.
