Newport Art Museum

Newport Art Museum, 76 Bellevue Ave., specializes in the art of southeastern New England. The permanent collection includes the 1864 John N.A. Griswold House, designed in the stick style by architect Richard Morris Hunt. Exhibits are also presented in the 1919 neoclassical Cushing Gallery and at the Coleman Center for Creative Studies. Historical and contemporary works by regional artists and traveling exhibitions also are presented.
