Herreshoff Marine Museum

Herreshoff Marine Museum, 1 Burnside St., is home to the America's Cup Hall of Fame as well as 60 original sailing and power yachts designed and built by the Herreshoff Manufacturing Co. 1859-1945, including the 1859 Sprite and the 1914 Aria. Also displayed are half models, steam engines and photographs chronicling the role of Herreshoff Manufacturing Co. (1859-1945) during the Golden Age of Yachting. A video presentation depicts shipbuilding, America's Cup races and Herreshoff family history. Dockings and moorings are available for museum visitors.
