Lamontagne House

Lamontagne House (Maison Lamontagne), 1.5 km (.9 mi.) e. of Rimouski Port via Hwy. 132 to 707 boul. du Rivage, is an 18th-century half-timbered house. Antique furniture, architectural and cultural exhibits, and a display about the conservation and preparation of food in the 18th century are featured. Free outdoor concerts take place on Sundays in July and August, and, on Fridays, batches of bread are prepared in an outdoor oven.
