Montmorency Park (Parc Montmorency), bounded by Côte de la Montagne and rues Port-Dauphin and des Remparts, occupies the site of the first Canadian Parliament building and affords a view of the St. Lawrence River. The park has monuments to Sir George-Étienne Cartier, one of the Fathers of Confederation, and Louis Hébert, one of Canada's earliest farmers.
