Woodmere Art Museum, 4 mi. s. of Pennsylvania Tpke./I-276 exit 333 at 9201 Germantown Ave., has paintings and decorative art spanning the 18th- through 20th centuries. The Victorian home and art collection of Charles Knox Smith form the nucleus of the museum. Of particular interest is the collection of 19th-century American paintings, which includes works by Thomas Anshutz, Frederic Church, Jasper Cropsey, Edward Moran and Benjamin West.
