Tyler Arboretum

Tyler Arboretum, 515 Painter Rd., is one of the nation's oldest and largest arboretums. The 650-acre property contains renowned horticultural collections, including the Wister Rhododendron Garden, meadows, wetlands and forest. There are 17 miles of marked hiking trails, historic buildings dating to 1738 and many natural areas. Nature walks, educational programs for children and adults, special events and nature camps are offered year-round. Maps are available for self-guiding tours.

Dogs are not permitted.
