The Highlands Mansion and Gardens is off Pennsylvania Tpke./I-276 exit 339, .5 mi. n.w. on W. Pennsylvania Ave., 1 mi. s. on S. Bethlehem Pike, 1 mi. w. on Skippack Pike, then n.e. to 7001 Sheaff Ln. Quaker Anthony Morris' Georgian manor house was completed in 1796. Comprising 44 acres, the estate includes a two-story octagonal springhouse, an icehouse and a three-level bank barn. A 2-acre walled garden with statuary, a fountain and a Gothic Revival cottage exemplifies 19th- and 20th-century landscape architecture.
