The Maridon Museum

The Maridon Museum is downtown at 322 N. McKean St. An extensive collection of Chinese and Japanese art includes jade and ivory sculptures, landscape paintings, tapestries, silk prints and ink-on-paper scrolls. An impressive display of Meissen porcelain, with some items dating to the early 18th century, also is featured. The entire collection, which totals more than 800 art objects, was acquired and donated by Mary Phillips, a lifelong Butler resident.
