The Dalles Dam Visitor Center

The Dalles Dam Visitor Center is n. of I-84 exit 87 on US 197, then .8 mi. n.e. on Bret Clodfelter Way. The differing opinions that industry, farmers, recreationists, fishers and Native Americans have about The Dalles Dam and Lock are presented with recorded comments. There are interactive displays and a 7-minute video about the dam as well as a live camera view of the fish ladder. There also is a turn-of-the-20th-century rose garden on the grounds.
