Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge

Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge is at 19255 S.W. Pacific Hwy. One of only a handful of urban sites in the National Wildlife Refuge System, Tualatin provides habitat for resident and migratory birds, waterfowl and mammals. The refuge includes a restored oak savanna, a much-depleted ecosystem in the Willamette Valley. Four miles of trails lead through the refuge to the Tualatin River. The Wildlife Center has natural history displays.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
