Port Orford Lifeboat Station Museum

Port Orford Lifeboat Station Museum is in Port Orford Heads State Park, at 92331 Coast Guard Hill Rd. Commissioned in 1934, the station provided search and rescue assistance until 1970. Now a museum, it contains a 36-foot motor lifeboat and a Lyle rescue gun as well as a dog tag machine from World War II. Port Orford Heads State Park offers walking trails with views of the ocean.
