The Connie Hansen Garden

The Connie Hansen Garden is at 1931 N.W. 33rd St. Paths wind through this 1.3-acre garden showcasing plants that thrive in the mild, damp coastal climate. Beds of hellebores, hosta, iris, heather and primrose nestle beneath a canopy of ornamental trees. Mature rhododendrons surround the perennial flower beds. A small stream courses though the garden, and benches offer spots for relaxed contemplation.

The garden is in bloom from spring through fall, with peak bloom in April and May. Visit in late December to see Christmas Cheer, an early blooming rhododendron. The Garden House has a gallery and library.
