Mount Hood Railroad

Mount Hood Railroad departs from the Hood River Depot 1 blk. s. of I-84 exit 63. The railroad offers excursion train trips through the scenic Hood River Valley. Excursion trains stop in Parkdale, at the base of Mt. Hood. Visitors ride in historic Pullman cars along the river and through forests, meadows and pear and apple orchards. All cars provide excellent views of the Pacific Northwest landscape. Western Train Robbery, Harvest Fall Special and Polar Express rides also are available.
