Shelton McMurphey Johnson House

Shelton McMurphey Johnson House is downtown at 303 Willamette St. off Third Ave. and Pearl St. A city landmark, the 1888 Queen Anne-style Victorian house is known as the “Castle on the Hill.” Its location offers panoramic views of the city and surrounding hillsides. Changing historical exhibits are featured. The surrounding neighborhood makes up the East Skinner Butte Historic Landmark Area.
