Shore Acres State Park and Botanical Gardens

Shore Acres State Park and Botanical Gardens is 12.5 mi. s.w. off Cape Arago Hwy. A former estate with 5 acres of formal gardens, this scenic 743-acre park is landscaped with azaleas, roses, rhododendrons and other plants. A glass-walled shelter overlooking the ocean provides visitors with a view of seaside cliffs and possibly whales.
