Museum Windsor - Maison François Baby House, 254 Pitt St. W., is said to be one of the oldest surviving brick buildings along the Detroit River. It was headquarters for Gen. William Hull and Gen. Brock during the War of 1812. The 1812 structure, built by François Baby, contains permanent exhibitions about French settlement in and around Windsor, the War of 1812 and the 1838 Rebellion.
