Community Waterfront Heritage Centre

Community Waterfront Heritage Centre, 1155 1st Ave. W., 1.5 blks. n. of 10th St. in the former CNR station on the waterfront, demonstrates the role each industry played in shaping the area's economic history. Exhibits include uniforms, tools, pictures and models of trains and boats, flags, charts, propellers and ship wheels. Interactive stations and a working “G” scale model train are featured. Visitors can also see a rail caboose and a 1953 Pullman dining car parked on a section of track outside. A library is open to the public.
