Jordan Historical Museum

Jordan Historical Museum, on Main St. in Jordan, honors the pioneers who came to this area in the early 19th century. The lives and activities of the settlers are reflected in the Jacob Fry House. A restored one-room stone school house also is on the site. Of special interest are the giant fruit press built in the early 1800s and an exhibit of fraktur folk art. The Pioneer Day festival is held the Saturday before Thanksgiving in October.
