Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum

Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum, 3 km (1.8 mi.) n.w. of Hwy. 401 exit 275 on Huron Rd., features exhibit galleries as well as a living-history village called Doon Heritage Village. The museum and village are set in 24 hectares (60 acres) of forest, marsh and farmland. The museum gallery and mezzanine exhibits tell the story of the Waterloo region from ancient times to present. In the village, stroll back in time to 1914 and experience historic buildings, interpreters in period dress, farm animals and family-oriented activities.
