AAA Editor Notes
Joseph Schneider Haus Museum and Gallery, 466 Queen St. S., is a restored Pennsylvania German Mennonite house that depicts life in the 1850s; outbuildings and a four-square garden also are part of the site. Costumed staff members interpret daily activities of this farming family as well as seasonal events such as quilting bees. Changing exhibits from the museum's folk art collection and from the local community are presented in two galleries.
