International Hockey Hall of Fame

International Hockey Hall of Fame is on the second floor of the Invista Centre at 1350 Gardiners Rd. Founded by the National Hockey League in 1943, this is the nation's oldest sports hall of fame. The game's heritage is preserved through artifacts dedicated to hockey's evolution and to those who shaped the game, in North America and around the world. Of note are Canada's first Olympic gold medal, won in 1924; an 1890s sweater; and items from the league's original six teams.
