Kincardine Lighthouse

Kincardine Lighthouse is downtown at the foot of Harbour St. directly off Hwy. 21. Built in 1881, the octagonal wooden lighthouse sits atop a two-story, six-room keeper's house. The three levels are joined by 69 steps. The lighthouse tower is topped by a red iron lantern and balcony. An exhibit about local history is in a museum at the base of the tower.
