The Arboretum is on the campus of the University of Guelph. From Gordon St. travel e. onto College Ave., s. on East Ring Rd., then e. on Arboretum Rd. Featured on 165 hectares (408 acres) are 8 kilometres (5 miles) of signed trails, 38 species of mammals, 188 species of birds, 39 species of butterflies, 18 herptiles (reptiles and amphibians) and more than 1,700 types of trees and shrubs.
Brochures for self-guiding tours are available at the information kiosk near the main entrance and throughout the grounds. Guided tours are available by appointment.
