Johnston's Cranberry Marsh & Muskoka Lakes Winery

Johnston's Cranberry Marsh & Muskoka Lakes Winery is 4 km (2.5 mi.) n. on Muskoka Rd. 169, 1 km (.6 mi.) w. on Medora Lake Rd., then 0.75 km (0.4 mi.) s. to 1074 Cranberry Rd. This family-owned farm has grown cranberries since 1952. Tour guides provide an explanation of cranberry cultivation and the transformation of the fruit into wine, preserves and juice. Wine tasting is available, and visitors can take part in a “stand-in-the-berries” experience during harvest. Visitors also can follow self-guiding tours and hiking trails, or take part in snowshoeing and skating in winter.
