Jasmine Moran Children's Museum

Jasmine Moran Children's Museum is 1 mi. w. of jct. SR 9/US 377 at 1714 W. Wrangler Blvd. (SR 9W). This hands-on museum is in the form of a child-size town complete with street signs. A courthouse, grocery store, fire station, hospital, television studio and other settings are incorporated into a community just for children.
Exhibits are designed to stimulate the imagination. A child can assume various roles in a community by donning a grocer's apron, dentist's jacket or firefighter's uniform. Other highlights include model airplanes, an aquarium, a soap bubble factory, ScienceWorks and Tinkering in the Park, an area where visitors can create projects.
A 1936 fire truck, 1921 Model T and 1927 caboose can be explored. Children can practice street safety in Safety Town, ride the SuperSONIC Express train or explore the 12,000-square-foot outdoor castle maze.
Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
