Stephens County Historical Museum

Stephens County Historical Museum is at 1402 W. Beech Ave. in Fuqua Park. Housed in the former National Guard Armory, the museum depicts life in rural Oklahoma at the end of the 19th century. Mannequins dressed in period costumes re-create frontier scenes in a blacksmith shop, a log cabin, a pioneer kitchen and other early settings. Gems, antique toys, a Plains Indian exhibit and a Halliburton Energy Services collection are among other displays.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
