EnterTrainment Junction

EnterTrainment Junction is off I-75 exit 22, just e. on Tylersville Rd., just s. on Kingsgate Rd., then just w. to 7379 Squire Ct. Train Journey, billed as the world's largest indoor train display, has 25,000 square feet of G-scale model trains (1/24 the size of real trains) that travel along more than 2 miles of track through detailed displays representing different eras in railroad history. There even is an 11-foot waterfall. The American Railroading Museum includes railroad artifacts, trivia kiosks and a video theater. At Imagination Junction, kids can play at an indoor 5,000-square-foot railroad-themed play area. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, children can ride a hand-cranked locomotive around a 300-foot track, and the Narrow Gauge Kid's Train is in operation on 1,000 feet of track, weather permitting.

The second main attraction of the complex is the A-Maze-N FunHouse, where visitors can attempt to make their way through a tilt room, mirror maze, claustrophobia hallway, black light walk-through and the Ames Room (distorted to create optical illusions). Special events include Christmas at the Junction, Jack O'Lantern Junction and Thomas the Tank Engine month. A behind-the-scenes tour also is available.
