Armstrong Air & Space Museum

Armstrong Air & Space Museum is just w. off I-75 exit 111 at 500 Apollo Dr. Exhibits follow the history of flight from the dreams of science fiction to the reality of space exploration. On view are full-size airplanes, a moon rock and the Gemini VIII capsule in which Neil Armstrong completed the first spacecraft docking in orbit. Several motion picture presentations are shown.

The dome-shaped Astro Theater features a documentary about America in space. The Infinity Room, an 18-foot square lined with mirrors, offers the illusion of walking in space.
