Brukner Nature Center

Brukner Nature Center is off I-75 exit 73, 3 mi. s.w. on SR 55, then 3 mi. w. to 5995 Horseshoe Bend Rd. This 165-acre nature preserve offers 6 miles of hiking trails, a pine forest and prairie. The interpretive center features a treetop-level bird-viewing room. The 1804 Iddings log house is open for viewing. Rehabilitated but permanently impaired animals, including a coyote and a bald eagle, can be seen. Frequently scheduled events include live creature features, night hikes and stargazing.

Pets are not permitted.
