The Dawes Arboretum

The Dawes Arboretum is 5 mi. s. on SR 13 to 7770 Jacksontown Rd. The nearly 2,000-acre arboretum has plant collections, gardens and natural areas. Twelve miles of hiking trails and a 4-mile automobile route are on the grounds. The Daweswood House Museum is furnished with 19th- and 20th-century antiques and family memorabilia.

Guided tours are available. Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
