Kingwood Center Gardens is off I-71 exit US 30, w. to Trimble Rd., then s. to entrance at 50 N. Trimble Rd. The public garden covers 47 acres and contains landscaped gardens, trails that meander through woodland settings and two ponds that harbor waterfowl. Greenhouses are filled with distinctive plant displays. Kingwood Hall is a 1926 26-room French Provincial-style mansion.
Kingwood is known for its spring show, which includes massive bulb displays, spring flowering trees and a general explosion of flowers. Summer annual displays along with a wide range of blooming trees, shrubs and perennials are highlights in the setting of a former estate garden.
Pets are not permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum for the center and 30 minutes minimum for Kingwood Hall.
