AAA Editor Notes
Mount Pleasant is off N. High Street in Rising Park. The sandstone rock is 250 feet high with 2 acres of flat top area. Used by the Native Americans and settlers as an observation point and a fortress, the rock commands an excellent view of the surrounding country. Its west side resembles the profile of a Native American. The face of Mount Pleasant cannot be climbed, but the Tarhe Trail provides some access; the trailhead is in Rising Park.

Picnicking is permitted.
