The Holden Arboretum

The Holden Arboretum is 4 mi. e. of SR 306 on Kirtland-Chardon Rd., then 1.5 mi. n. on Sperry Rd. Twenty miles of walking trails weave through this 3,600-acre natural woodland museum containing horticultural display gardens, woods, fields and natural areas. The 500-foot Canopy Walk provides views from 65 feet above the forest floor, and the Emergent Tower goes beyond the treetops to offer views from a 120-foot level.

Walking and tram tours are available. A visitor center and reference library also are on the grounds.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted.
