Roscoe Village is at 600 N. Whitewoman St. The restored 1830s Ohio & Erie Canal town has living-history buildings, a museum, restaurants and quaint shops. The Living History Tour features costumed interpreters. Adjacent to the property are the mile-long foot and bicycle Towpath trail and Lake Park, a recreational complex. Horse-drawn canal boat rides are offered at the Canal Boat Landing.
The visitor center includes a lock model and a gristmill model as well as dioramas depicting the construction of the canal. The center's theater shows the 15-minute “Ditches of Destiny” video. Annual festivals and special events are held throughout the year.
Guided tours are available. Recreational activities are permitted. Food is available.
