Olentangy Indian Caverns

Olentangy Indian Caverns are 6 mi. n. of jct. US 23 and I-270, then 2 mi. w. to 1779 Home Rd., following signs. Used by the Wyandot Indians for shelter, the caverns are a series of natural passageways and rooms 55 to 105 feet below ground. The Cave-House Museum features Native American artifacts and archeological displays. Gem mining, mini-golf and 40-minute guided tours are available.
The caverns have a year-round constant temperature of 54 degrees Fahrenheit.
Dress appropriately and wear sturdy shoes.
