Ross County Heritage Center

Ross County Heritage Center is at 45 W. 5th St. The center includes the Ross County Museum; McKell Library; the restored, early 19th-century Knoles Log House; and Franklin House, with textiles from the 19th- and 20th centuries. Exhibits include items relating to early Ohio history and statehood, the Civil War and World War I. Decorative arts, clothing, fine arts, toys, dolls, vehicles, and information about prehistoric cultures and transportation history are included. The library houses more than 37,000 volumes, documents, manuscripts, sheet music and photographs.
