AAA Editor Notes
Noble County Historical Society is at 419 West St., on the courthouse square. Guided tours are offered of this 1882 brick and stone structure that once served as the county jail and jailer's residence. Exhibits chronicle the history of the building as well as other topics of local history, including agriculture, medical practices and the oil industry. The story of the 1925 crash of the airship USS Shenandoah in Noble County also is featured.

A research library is included.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
