New York State Zoo at Thompson Park

New York State Zoo at Thompson Park is just e. off SR 12 at Thompson Park. This 32-acre zoo has more than 90 North American animal species including wolverines, black bears, wild turkeys, lynx, eagles, snowy owls, bats, turtles, snakes, fish and mountain lions. A children's farm has goats, chickens, llamas and miniature donkeys. The butterfly house is open seasonally.
