Vierling House and Barn

Vierling House and Barn is at 500 Church St., near God's Acre. Once the largest house in Salem, it was the residence of Dr. Benjamin Vierling, a prominent physician. Inside are an apothecary shop, dining room, kitchen and family quarters. A medical and health care exhibit is upstairs. At the rear of the 1802 building is a furnished wash-bake house where household chores often are demonstrated.
