Discovery Place Kids

Discovery Place Kids is at 233 E. Washington St. Imagination, skill-building and fun come together at this indoor play space geared to children under 10 years of age. An “I Can” theme prevails throughout the exhibits, which include water tables, building blocks, live science shows, puppet shows and a 10-foot-high model of a human heart. There are kid-sized mock-ups of a grocery store, veterinarian's office, fire truck, race car and a two-story climbing structure. Toddlers have their own special play area with mirrors and tactile walls.
