JC Raulston Arboretum

JC Raulston Arboretum is off the Hillsborough St. exit of the I-440 beltline at 4415 Beryl Rd. More than 6,000 kinds of plants are in this 10.5-acre horticultural park. Highlights include the Japanese Garden, Rose Garden, White Garden, Perennial Border and the Color Trial.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
