Stanly House

Stanly House, 307 George St., is part of the Tryon Palace complex. The house was built of hand-hewn longleaf pine around 1783 for John Wright Stanly, a merchant and privateer during the American Revolution. Today it contains furnishings and a garden representative of the late 18th century.
