Andy Griffith Museum

Andy Griffith Museum is at 218 Rockford St. The museum displays items and memorabilia celebrating actor and humorist Andy Griffith and his career in film, stage and television. Featured are props, costumes and collectors' items from “The Andy Griffith Show,” including the keys to the Mayberry jail, a mock-up of the sheriff's office, Goober's bronzed cap and a statue of Andy and Opie heading down to the fishing hole.

An audio tour narrated by Griffith's childhood friend Emmett Forrest provides additional information about items on display.
