Carolina Raptor Center, within Latta Nature Preserve at 6000 Sample Rd., provides care and rehabilitation for injured and orphaned birds of prey. Educational exhibits and weekend programs about raptors are presented. A .75-mile nature trail is lined with aviaries containing many varieties of hawks, falcons and owls.

Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
