Sarah P. Duke Gardens

Sarah P. Duke Gardens, on the West Campus of Duke University, encompasses 55 acres. This award-winning public botanic garden is dedicated to excellence in garden design, horticulture and plant collections. The formal Terrace Gardens are filled with color that changes according to the seasons, while a large rose garden perfumes the air during the summer months. An Asiatic arboretum, a garden of native plants, a white garden and an organic, sustainable food garden also can be visited.
