Daniel Boone Native Gardens

Daniel Boone Native Gardens is at 651 Horn in the West Dr. Visitors can enjoy a stroll among trees, shrubs and wildflowers native to the region. There are fern, bog and rock gardens, plus a rhododendron grove that is particularly lovely April through June. The wrought-iron entrance gates and Squire Boone Cabin were constructed by Boone relatives; the cabin was originally located behind Grandfather Mountain.
