The Botanical Gardens at Asheville is at 151 W.T. Weaver Blvd.; from US 19/23, take exit 25 (the University of North Carolina at Asheville exit). The grounds feature 10 acres of plants and flowers indigenous to the southern Appalachian Mountains and include two creeks, wooded areas, meadows, a historic cabin and picturesque bridges. Pets are not permitted in the garden.

Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
