Morris-Jumel Mansion

Morris-Jumel Mansion, 65 Jumel Terr. between 160th and 162nd sts., .5 blk. e. of St. Nicholas Ave., served as British and American army headquarters during the Revolutionary War. Built around 1765, the mansion is one of Manhattan's oldest surviving residential structures; it houses Colonial, Revolutionary, Federal and American Empire furniture.
