The Thomas Halsey Homestead

The Thomas Halsey Homestead, .5 mi. s. on S. Main St., is a one-acre property established in 1648. The restored two-story house is deemed one of the oldest frame houses in Southampton. Built by one of the original settlers, Thomas Halsey, Jr., it contains 17th- and 18th-century furnishings. Behind the house is a Colonial herb garden.
